Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy governs the online information collection practices of Ripwater LLC ("we" or "us") in connection with legacymethod.org (the "Site"). It explains the information we collect when you visit the Site, request resources, or ask about a consultation, and how we use and share that information.
This policy applies to this Site. Other websites and services linked from the Site have their own operators and privacy policies. This policy does not replace any separate privacy notice provided by an advisor, insurance provider, or other business you choose to work with.
How We Collect Information
We collect information you choose to provide through forms, scheduling tools, email, or other communications related to the Site. Depending on the form, this may include:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Household income and net worth ranges, whether you own a business, and whether you have life insurance.
- Your financial goals, questions, referral source, appointment details, and other information you include in a message.
When you visit the Site, our hosting, security, and embedded service providers may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referral information, and the time of your visit. Please do not submit bank account credentials, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive documents through the general inquiry forms.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve the Site, respond to your inquiries, deliver requested resources, arrange consultations, match requests with appropriate consultation options, provide support, and communicate about resources and services you request or choose to hear about. We may also use information to protect the Site, prevent misuse, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.
How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers and contractors who support website hosting, security, customer relationship management, scheduling, and communications. The Site uses Cloudflare for hosting and security and GoHighLevel for contact and scheduling services. Contact information may also be processed through HubSpot when that integration is used.
If you request a consultation or introduction, we may share the details needed to respond to that request with the advisor or business handling the consultation. That business may provide a separate privacy notice for its own services. We may also disclose information as required by law, to protect legal rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent status with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are shared only with service providers helping deliver and manage the messaging program, not for their own marketing.
Providing a phone number alone does not enroll you in marketing texts. Any optional text messaging program will identify its sender and provide consent and opt-out terms at signup. You can also contact us using the details below about your communication preferences.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site and embedded scheduling or form providers may use cookies or similar technologies to operate features, maintain security, and remember preferences. Embedded providers may collect information when their content loads or when you interact with it, subject to their own privacy policies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some features. The Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Links and Embedded Services
The Site includes links to other websites and embedded forms and calendars operated by third parties. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies. Please review those policies before providing information or purchasing a product or service on another website.
Your Privacy Choices and Requests
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. These may include rights under European data protection laws or California privacy laws, where applicable.
To make a request or ask about your options, call (800) 474-0565. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, or legitimate business reasons, subject to applicable law.
Unsubscribe Options
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by contacting us. We may still send messages needed to respond to an inquiry or manage an appointment you requested. If you receive an unwanted message claiming to be from us, please contact us so we can investigate.
How We Store Information
Information may be stored in the United States and in systems operated by our service providers. We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to requests, maintaining business records, and meeting legal obligations. No method of online transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed to children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update its effective date. Any additional notice or consent required by applicable law will be provided when required.
